Description

1. Purpose

Cable setting cast iron drillable bridge plug is mainly used for temporary and permanent plugging of oil, gas and water layers. It can be used for production well channeling, water plugging, fracturing, acidizing, testing and other construction.

2. Working principle

The thrust generated by the cable or hydraulic setting tool acts on the upper slip through the setting sleeve in the setting joint package. The tension generated acts on the release bolt through the pull rod in the setting joint package. Within a certain tension range, the upper and lower slips of the bridge plug are split and broken by the upper and lower cones, and embedded on the inner wall of the casing to complete the anchoring of the bridge plug. At the same time, the rubber cylinder is squeezed to expand and seal the annulus to complete the setting. When the tension continues to rise to the preset value of the release bolt, the release bolt is pulled off, the setting tool is separated from the bridge plug, and the release is completed.
